UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2022 - Apply Online (253 Posts)
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct written Examination on 07th August, 2022 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces. UPSC has issued a notification for the CAPF ACs Exam 2022 on its official website www.upsc.gov.in. UPSC will recruit the candidates through CAPF ACs Exam , to fill up the 253 vacancies of Assistant Commandants Post. Interested Candidates can fill online application form till 10th May, 2022. All the details related to ACs Exam are mentioned below.

Vacancies to be filled in various forces :
1. Border Security Force (BSF) : 66 vacancies
2. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) : 29 vacancies
3. Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) : 62 vacancies
4. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) : 14 vacancies
5. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) : 82 vacancies
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : A Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree of a university . Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognized by Government as equivalent to professional and technical degree would also be eligible for admission to the examination.
Age Limit : A candidates must not less than 20 years and must not more than 25 years of age as on 01st August, 2022 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1997 and not later than 1st August, 2002.
Selection Process : The Selection procedure will contain 4 Stages :
1. Written Examination
2. Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests
3. Interview / Personality Test
4. Final Selection /Merit
Written Examination will comprise of 2 Papers i.e Paper I (from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon) & Paper II (02.00 p.m to 05:00 p.m):
1. Paper I : General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks
2. Paper II : General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks
The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
Application Fee :
1. Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 200/-.
2. Female/SC/ST Candidates are not required to pay any fee.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online using the link www.upsconline.nic.in . Candidates have to fill both Registration Form i.e Part I Registration and Part II Registration. Link for filling online application form is mentioned below.
Candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test.
